Presentation of Results of the Public Survey on the topic: Israeli perceptions of Germany today.

At the occasion of the Conference "In the Eye of the Beholder: Israeli perceptions of Germany between National Socialism, the Fall of the Wall and Tokio Hotel" held in September 2009, a public survey was conducted.

In September 2009, the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung organized in cooperation with the Richard-Koebner-Minerva Center for German History at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem the Conference: "In the Eye of the Beholder: Israeli perceptions of Germany between National Socialism, the Fall of the Wall and Tokio Hotel".

The public survey conducted by the PORI Institute at that occasion was an integral part of the Conference.
Now for the first time the results of the survey are presented to the public (in German), including:
  • an introduction by Dr. Ralf Hexel, Director of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Office in Israel,
  • Graphic presentation of the results of the survey in diagrams
  • Analyses of two Experts: Prof. Moshe Zimmerman, Director of the Richard-Koebner-Minerva Center of Jewish History at the Hebrew University and Dr. Amal Jamal, Political Scientist at the Tel Aviv University.
