On August 12 the first Alumni Conference of the Abraham Fund Leadership Program for Women and Youngsters in the Arab Society was held in the Negev. The Program which is coordinated jointly by FES Israel and Abraham Fund Initiatives has been running for 4 years and counts until today 220 graduates.
Women and Men from all over the country participated in the Meeting which offered a unique occasion for networking and mingling for participants of the Course from various locations in the country.
In addition, the Meeting intended to expand and deepen the knowledge of the graduates and focused on the subject of Planning and Building in the Arab Society.
The Program included amongst others a visit in the unrecognized Bedouin village Umm al-Hiran and a lecture by Dr.Thabet Abu Rass, Co-executive Director of Abraham Fund Initiatives on the subject of Planning and Building in the Arab Society in Israel.
