Last week FES Israel initiated a brainstorming workshop under the title “How can Israeli civil society support the peace process under the new US administration?” with a group of colleagues. The purpose of the workshop was to jointly develop ideas of how Israeli civil society groups could contribute to the relaunching of negotiations with the Palestinians and to reach a sustainable solution.

Dr. Yair Hirschfeld, Academic Director of the S. Daniel Abraham Center for Strategic Dialogue at Netanya College, and Dr. Nimrod Goren, Head of MITVIM – The Israeli Institute for Regional Foreign Policies, started the meeting with a short introductory input, followed by an open discussion in Hebrew and English.
