On 11 December, the closing event of the fourth Politikva-course for Ultra-Orthodox took place in Ramat Gan. Politikva outlines and discusses social democratic approaches, for instance to socioeconomic issues and the topic of peace and security, and provides the participants with important tools for a political career.

This course was run by Michal Czernovitzki, an alumnus of the first Politikva-course, and comprised a total of 75 hours of seminars. Two full-day excursions took place as well: one to Ramallah in the West Bank, and the other, concerning privatization, to a school and a hospital. Furthermore, the participants visited the Knesset and met with several Knesset members, amongst others Amir Peretz, former head of the Labor Party. The course was attended and successfully completed by 25 ultra-orthodox women and men.
