Last week the closing session of the Feminism Course organized in cooperation with the Adva Center was held.
33 women and one Man participated in the Course which included lectures about various issues related to Feminist Thought like:
the status of Women in the economic discourse, in the Labour Market and in decision making processes, the connection between Religion, Gender and the State, the representation of Gender in the Media, the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict from a Gender Perspective and the meaning of Security for Women from various groups in Israeli Society.
The course aimed to connect between scientific knowledge and Feminist Activism and the exchange of Participants’ experiences. The lectures were held by the team of scholars of the Adva Center’s team of scholars and experts in Gender Studies from the Academia and other feminist Organizations.
