Meeting with representatives of the Migration-Council Berlin Brandenburg

Between November 16 – 21, a delegation of “The Coalition against Racism in Israel” visited Berlin on the invitation of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in order to meet with organizations and bodies in Germany who are dealing with similar issues, to learn from their experience and to establish contacts for future cooperation.

The members of the delegation were: Mr. Nidal Othman, Director of “The Coalition against Racism in Israel”, Ms. Efrat Esther Fudem, Director of Merkaz Tmura, Ms. Sofia Sosonov-Hadar, Our Heritage, Mr. Raed Mahamid, The Russian Graduate Association, Ms. Avivit Molonsh Kabada, Operations manager and assistant to the director on legal projects of Tebeka and Ms. Shelly Shaul, Hakeshet Hademocratit Hamizrahit.

The meetings included a wide range of organizations and official bodies such as the Migration-Council Berlin Brandenburg, the Mobile counsel against right-wing-extremism, the initiative ‚Aktion Courage – School without Racism’, the Department for equal treatment/against discrimination of the Berlin Senate Administration, the Department for intercultural tasks and diversity of the Berlin Police and more.
