On January 27th, former Israeli Prime Minister and former head of the Israeli Labor Party (Avoda), Ehud Barak, met with about 60 Politikva graduates for an almost 3 hour long closed meeting.
Politikva courses are jointly organized by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and the Berl Katznelson Foundation.
Barak who has left the official political stage for a few years already, is reappearing in public over the last months and weeks to voice his concerns about the latest developments in Israel. In a 30-minute input, Barak analyzed the current political situation and then answered numerous questions, some quite critical, from his audience. The event organized by the Politikva Alumni-network is the first of a series on the subject “How to gain political power?”
