Final Meeting of the Fifth Emda Course – A program for professional and conceptual training for the senior staff in pre-military preparatory schools

In collaboration with Beit Yigal Alon, the World Zionist Organization, the Shalom Hartman Institute, the Lautman Foundation and the Pre-Military Preparatory Council, the Friedrich Ebert Israel Foundation is promoting a program designed for teaching staff – the “Emda” program.

The festive closing event of the successful 11-session course took place on June 16, 2021 at Beit Yigal Alon in Kibbutz Ginosar.

The 15 participants from 13 preparatory schools acquired in the workshops not only pedagogical tools but deepened in dealing with issues such as the relationship between Jews and Arabs, social justice and gender justice.

Participants initiate projects such as cross-cultural encounters and the promotion of social initiatives within the framework of “actual Talmud” with the knowledge acquired.
