
The international conference on “The ILO’s Future of Work Initiative – Work and Society, Decent Jobs for all “– took place on the 20th and 21st of September at the Tel Aviv University. It was organized by the Israeli Industrial Relations Association (IIRRA) in cooperation with the Friedrich-Ebert Foundation and the the International Labour Organization – ILO. Representatives of the organizations, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, unionists and members of the employers’ association, as well as human resource managers and leading scholars discussed challenges and possible solutions for the future of work. The topics included for example worker engagement, demographic tendencies, and tendencies of computerization.
The findings of the lively debates will be summarized and presented among others to the Director-General of the ILO.
