On Monday, May 30, 2016, about 20 participants of the current leadership course for Arab women run in cooperation between FES Israel and the Abraham Fund Initiatives visited the FES Israel office in Herzliya. This course is empowering women to actively engage in politics and civil society, stand up for their rights, and actively participate in the building and development of their community.

The participating women informed themselves about the work of the Friedrich-Ebert- Stiftung in Israel and abroad. In particular, they raised questions about projects on gender justice and Jewish-Arab cooperation which the FES is supporting.
