On April 9, a zoom event of the “Progressive Economists” program took place. The program is a joint venture of the Social Economic Academy in cooperation with Berl Katznelson Foundation and FES-Israel.
More than 60 students, mentors and guests participated at the web-seminar. Eleven projects conducted during the participants’ practice were presented.

They are executed under the auspices of a variety of partners in the public sector such as: Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Welfare, Ministry of Industry, Civil Service Commission, Tel Aviv Municipality, Eshkol Negev Mizrahi and more.

The program involves 47 students from Tel Aviv University, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and for the first time also from Ben Gurion University in the Negev.
Its goal is to integrate social democratic values and perceptions into the economic training of students and to encourage them to aim for an occupational carrier in the public sector.

We are very happy about the great commitment of this year’s participants and we wish everyone fruitful studies and a successful completion of their projects.
