On July 19 a new WePower Leadership Course, coordinated together with WePower and FES Israel was opened, aiming at the Empowerment of Jewish and Arab Women in Lod.

22 Women holding leading positions in Lod participate in the course, which is organized in cooperation with the Municipality of Lod. All participating Women are highly motivated to increase their impact on decisions and policy-making on municipal level.

Established in 2000, WePower is a non-profit, non-partisan Israeli NGO, promoting women’s leadership, gender integration and equality at all levels of Israeli society. WePower proactively focuses on advancing women to top influential positions at the highest levels of decision-making and elected positions.
