The alumni meeting of participants of the Politikva courses took place on November 22 in Tel Aviv. The courses are organized by the FES in cooperation with the Berl Katznelson Foundation since 2009. They reach many young people from different social groups in Israel, which where all represented that night.
The Keynote Speech of Uri Misgav, a Journalist from “Haaretz” daily newspaper, treated the necessity of challenging the leftist identity in an open and intimate conversation. After that, the Alumni had the possibility to debate face to face with the experienced politicians MK Zahava Galon from Meretz, MK Ahmed Tibi from the Joint List and MK Ayelet Nachmias-Verbin from the Zionist Camp. Thereby, they could practice their rhetorical skills and demonstrate political knowledge acquired during their Politikva courses.
