Pictures Farewell Mr SchwarzThe Seminar started with a  presentation by Dr. Roby Nathanson, Director, Macro – Center for Political Economics, about Attitudes of Israelis towards Germany and was followed by the Screening of the documentary: Farewell Herr Schwarz, and a talk with its director Yael Reuveni and Dr. Kobi Kabalek, from the Weiss-Livnat International Program in Holocaust Studies, University of Haifa.

This is the second series of seminars organized in the framework of cooperation between the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, the Strochlitz Institute for Holocaust Studies at the University of Haifa, and the Ghetto Fighters House Museum, which was established in the aim of fostering an Israeli-German academic dialogue.

This year the series of seminars will focus on Germany and Israel – Mutual Perceptions in a Changing Global environment.
