On August 16, at the Umm al-Fahm municipality, a round table event took place on the development of industrial and employment areas in Arab communities.
The purpose of the meeting, which was organized by The Mossawa Center and the FES Israel in cooperation with the heads of the Arab Authorities Committee and members of the Knesset’s Economics Committee, was to formulate an action plan to promote employment and industrial areas in Arab localities.
A working team was formed that will work in the coming weeks with both government ministries and the relevant authorities.
