On August 13, the second community conference of the program for “Progressive Economists” program which is organized by the Social Economic Academy in cooperation with Berl Katznelson Foundation and FES Israel.

The conference was held at ZOOM and included in addition to the participants of this year’s program also the graduates of previous programs.
The conference dealt with the social effects of the environmental crisis when the main speaker of the conference was former MK, Dr. Dov Hanin.

The purpose of the program for “Progressive Economists” is to integrate social democratic values and perceptions into the economic education of the students. Furthermore, the program assists in preparing students for public service by offering an internship in public sector institutions. During the internship, students work on significant and influential projects under the supervision of the institution which gives them employment experience in the public-economic sector.

We are very happy about the great commitment of this year’s participants as well as to the graduates of the previous programs and wish everyone a continued and successful social work.
