Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Israel is pleased to announce the commencement of the 6th “Progressive Economists” course which is organized by the Social Economic Academy in cooperation with Berl Katznelson Foundation and FES Israel. The program is attended by 38 students from Tel Aviv University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and aims to introduce social democratic values and perceptions into the students’ economic education.

Furthermore, the course helps prepare the students for public service by offering them internships in institutions of the public sector. During the internship, the students work on impactful projects that are supervised by the institution giving them real working experience in public sector economics.

We are very pleased about the great commitment of this year’s participants and wish all of them the successful completion of their projects.
