The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Israel is proud to be an active associate in a very reflective project of a number of organizations headed by the Berl Katznelson Foundation. For the fifth year now, this program prepares a generation of social economists to be integrated into the public service.
The 35 carefully chosen Alumnis received their certificates for achieving this program, followed by a research presentation by students that had followed the Ministry of Health. They came to the conclusion that, economically speaking, it is worth investing in professional training of food industry workers to reduce costs of the morbidity rate, seeing that a large part of public illness is caused by a lack of hygiene standards.
Former Chief Scientist of Israel, Ms. Orna Berry then emphasized the importance of talent promotion regardless of sector or gender in order to achieve a professionalization of the market.
Four graduates of the previous courses shared their own integration into the public, the private and the third sector. The event was closed with three working groups discussing issues related to social justice in the high-tech sector.
The team of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Israel would like to thank for this challenging and interesting afternoon and wishes its alumni the best of success.
