Common progressive values and solidarity among friends were important starting points for the continuation of the trialogue between Israel, United States and Germany, organized by the think tanks MITVIM – Israeli Institute for Regional Policies, the Middle East Institute and the FES. After the first meeting in Washington 2015, representatives of NGOs, politicians and scientists met this time in Jerusalem. They focused on the analysis of current challenges of the three democracies and developed policy recommendations for dealing with anti-democratic and anti-social movements.

The discussions focused on exchange of know-how and exchange of information between the experts from different countries.
