There are those who now enjoy the summer vacation and there are those who work to become professional and to influence the public and political arena. On the 25th of July we started a partnership with WePower – the Women’s Power Association and OnoVation – the Entrepreneurship Center of the Ono Academic College – a training program for young leadership at Ono Academic College. At the first meeting the course got to know each other. Each participant has a fascinating life story, an impressive record of doing and a strong desire to expand her circles of influence. we are looking forward to an interesting course!

About the leadership course:

“Future for the Public Sphere” is a nationwide training program designed for young women from all walks of life and from all populations, in order to increase their motivation and to develop the abilities of these women to take an active part in the public sphere in order to reduce the existing representation gaps between men and women.

Structure of the program:
  • Phase 1 – 14 Frontal learning sessions in the course, as well as two field trips (One field trip to the local authority and one to the Knesset).
  • Phase 2 – Field research an learning: Joining a senior manager / leading woman in the public and political spheres, in order to learn more closely the field of her work, her challenges and her conduct in a large system.
