On November 5, 2020 the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany and Itach Ma’aki – Women Lawyers for Social Justice cordially invited to a gathering on the occasion of 20 years to UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on the topic: “Women in Peace Movements in Israel – About Partnership, Participation, Diversity and Influence”.

German ambassador Dr. Susanne Wasum-Rainer held the keynote and presented the activities in Germany and in the framework of German foreign policy with regard to the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 . Nurit Haghagh and Shiri Levinas presented their research project commissioned by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung on the role of women in peace movements in Israel. Maisam Jaljuli, Mehereta Baruch Ron, Vicki Idzinski and Huda Abu Arqoub responded to the presentation.
