At the evening event held by our partner organization Young Naamat entitled “Not available! A symposium on work, leisure, digital and what’s in between” former and current participants of the Young Na’amat program gathered for its annual conference in a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the Histadrut headquarter. This year the conference focused on the challenges of digitalization in the world of work. Thus, the speakers talked about the blurring of boundaries between working and leisure time due to smartphones and other technical devices and the necessity to define adequate labor regulations which will allow employees and employers to enjoy the advantages offered by digitalization, and at the same time will protect employees from the downsides of theoretically possible 24/7 availability.
