Israel: A Social Report 2021 – Corona: Epidemic of Inequality

The document presents data on some aspects of inequality in Israel during the corona period. It first focuses on three defined population groups: the upper class, the high-tech workers and the small businesses. Later in the document, the authors point to the factors that influence exposure to the epidemic and morbidity, along with the government’s response in the field of mental health to those suffering from distress at this time.

Finally, the document reviews how the corona has affected the housing sector, focusing on households that spend a significant portion of their income on mortgage or rent payments.
