Working Out Challenging Situations – Labour Relations at Essential and Emergency Services

The Covid pandemic and extreme crises that occurred and the ones that may await us in the future focus attention on how economies in Israel and worldwide must organize to continue functioning appropriately in these complex and challenging times. Natural disasters, epidemics and wars create situations that test the survivability of residents in terms of public safety and public order. What preparations are required to handle these challenges?

The current annual conference of FES in collaboration with ILO and the Israeli Association for the Study of Labour Relations (IIRRA) delt with these topics. The conference discussed the question how do extreme situations effect labour relations.
